3AC is a part of 3A Tutors Ltd specialising in online one-to-one and small group tuition, courses, examination preparation and examination entry. Services are available to students of all ages and backgrounds within the UK and overseas.

All services have been developed to support and assist students to study for and achieve recognised qualifications through home study. 

One-to-One Tuition & Support

We recognise that literally thousands of mature and younger students in the UK and overseas wish to study for and achieve recognised qualifications through home study.  Studying from home is often very difficult – study options are often limited to self-study or assisted self-study through a Distance Learning program. Many dedicated home study students have expressed disappointment with the level of support provided through traditional Distance Learning programs.  We have developed a highly-effective alternative involving the appointment of a dedicated, subject specialist one-to-one tutor who provides student-led interactive online tuition and email support throughout the student’s period of self study.  Tuition is provided through state-of-the-art online whiteboards and audio links or at the student’s home.

This highly-effective format is ideally suited to students of any age who wish to study in their own time from home towards achieving recognised qualifications (many students sit their final examinations with us). Tuition and support is available in all subjects and at all levels.  The tutor is available to help the student to consolidate material, improve key skills, confidence and the ability to answer examination questions successfully.  

Study support is often available through interest-free instalment plans.

Examination Preparation

We provide a number of services aimed at maximising final examination grades. Services include online and in- college revision sessions, 4-hour cramming classes and intensive one-to-one tuition (both arranged immediately before the relevant examination) and in-college mock examinations resulting in the assignment of a ‘mock’ grade and a report highlighting the student’s strengths and weaknesses.

Examination Entry

Examination entry is available to students studying with us and to those studying elsewhere in all subjects and at all levels, through all major examination boards, as well as a number of other organisations in the UK. Candidates simply register, attend and sit their examinations with us on the relevant date/s.
